Sunny Sheep

$ 71.00

They said he was looking a bit blue in the face.  In our nearly 30 years of collecting we have only once or twice found an artist who made a sheep. Quite remarkable with contrasting blue face to the yellow body.  Inventive are the stylized squiggle lines denoting puffy patches of wool.  The Santiago's of La Union are probably the very last to continue the tradition of aniline dye painting in a truly folkway sense.
