Cacomistle Ringtail Miner's Cat

$ 250.00
Inhabiting the rocky canyon creeks of the southwest is this highly intelligent cousin of the raccoon the ringtail cat. A very sleek and elegant sculpture by Eleazar every bit as impressive as other species of cats he's done for us in the past. A large scale piece ideal for a mantle or coffee table. The markings of this ringtail are lemon neon irregular ovoids on a wash of swept sandstone sunset oranges. This one rivals the size of the reticulated jaguar and is a bit taller. Many people who live in it's habitat have no idea these beautiful acrobatic Procyonids exist. Miners used to have them as pets to keep out vermin and were given the name Miners cat.
