Gubana Monkey

Sprinting Spider Monkey, the renowned bandit, sprints away with lightning speed, appearing and disappearing in the blink of an eye. This lean and supple monkey is handcrafted from copal wood, giving it a smooth finish and a sinuous form. Its nimble and fluid movements are reminiscent of being on all fours. This sculpture is on the medium side, with an impressive reach and dimensions. Armando Jimenez's animated style adds a playful and whimsical touch to this piece, as if it came straight out of a cartoon dream.
