In San Martin, even ordinary animals possess the ability to take on human form, a beloved folklore that is deeply ingrained in the village. Using ixtle cactus fiber, Inocencio expertly crafts the tail and beard of his iconic figures, known as "el nahual". These exquisite creations truly deserve a place in a Mexican Folk Art museum.
