Mexicans have an affinity for elephants and collect them for good luck. When Mexican tourists from other parts of Mexico visit the villages and make a purchase it is usually an elephant. This one is carved from a single piece of wood with the tusks being removable for easy shipping. Very powerful presence this pachyderm as it trumpets it's charge.
