The hills of Oaxaca were once filled with the songs of the blue footed prairie chicken.  Nesting atop the ruins of Monte Alban these territorial pollos were friendly to humans and thus led to extinction.  This earthen feathered hen is so unique we thought it worth making a story befitting her.  Swept back wings and arching tail feathers carved add dimension to this meticulously painted feather friend.
